Trend’s New T12 High-performance trade-focused plunge router has been built with advanced safety features, engineered to deliver reliable, fast, accurate cuts. The Trend T12 is the perfect router for kitchen fitting applications; including worktop jointing, draining grooves, hob and sink recesses and carcass alteration. It’s ideal for fast, accurate heavy duty trenching work; including lock and latch fittings, staircase production and general-purpose carpentry with long & wide cutters. As well as hand-held routing and edge moulding applications, such as precision matched recesses for intumescent fire door strips and rebates.

Trend Lock Jig Features

• For most common sash mortises & dead locks, with up to 3 inch deep mortises & a 7/8 inch or 1 inch face-plate.
• Deeper mortises can be achieved with a suitable size of auger bit.
• Fast, clean & accurate results on doors 34mm to 58mm thick, even in hardwood.
• Steel plates & body.
• An auger bit and drill is required to complete deep mortises.
• The jig requires a 1/2- inch plunge router with a 80mm plunge, fitted with a 30mm guide bush with 6mm spigot & 12mm diameter long reach cutter. A 1/4-inch plunge router can be used for the face plate but will not achieve full depth of mortise.
